All twenty seven of the bootleg recordings from Tori’s 2007 American Doll Posse tour are now available at iTunes in the U.S.
Other online vendors (Rhapsody, Napster, etc.) will follow with release on August 5th, as well as iTunes internationally.

MONDAY, JULY 21st at 6pm
Tori will be doing an in-store signing at Amoeba Music Hollywood location in support of Comic Book Tattoo. This has also been organized in special association with MySpace Comic Books (http://www.myspace.com/comicbooks). 200 lucky fans will get a chance to meet Tori and have her sign the new book.
The first 200 people to purchase the book starting at 10:30 am Monday, July 21st at Amoeba Music will receive a wristband for the signing, to being at 6:00 pm.
Please note, no books will be sold prior to Monday at 10:30 am. If you plan to arrive before Amoeba opens at 10:30 am, please line up on the Ivar side of the store.

Live at Montreux 1991/1992

Set for release this September, two of Tori’s earliest live performances will be released on DVD and CD. This Live at Montreux compilation features rare live footage from 1991 and 1992 when Tori first performed at this renowned festival. With a September 22 release in the UK and Europe and a September 30 release in North America, this package is a glimpse at Tori pre- and post- the release of Little Earthquakes.

Tori as a Special Guest at the 2008 Comic Con International in San Diego

Promoting the release of Comic Book Tattoo, Tori has scheduled a couple appearances at the International Comic Con in San Diego the last weekend of July. Plans begin with a panel discussion - LIVE FROM COMIC-CON, TORI AMOS & COMIC BOOK TATTOO - hosted by comics and music critic Douglas Wolk, and featuring discussion between Tori, editor Rantz Hoseley and several of the contributing creators on Saturday, July 26 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Shortly thereafter, 2:00 pm to be exact, Tori will be doing a signing on site. Fans wishing to meet Tori can receive tickets to her signing, limited to 200 fans, by purchasing a copy of COMIC BOOK TATTOO at the Image Comics booth (#2729). Tickets will be made available in increments with 20 given out on Wednesday, July 23, 75 on Thursday, July 24, another 75 on Friday, July 25 and 30 on Saturday, July 26.

The split from Sony means ToriAmos.com will need to go through some changes. For now there is a temporary holding page up. The plan is to launch a new look to the site within the next 2-3 weeks. Image Comics sent out their official press release today announcing their partnership with Tori on the project, Comic Book Tattoo. Here’s what it has to say:

9 April, 2008 (Berkeley, CA) - This July the ever-growing relationship between comics and music reaches new heights as Tori Amos and Image Comics
release COMIC BOOK TATTOO, a 480-page, full color anthology adapting the themes and ideas behind her songs into a lush volume of sequential art.
“I have been surprised, excited and pleasantly shocked by these comics that are extensions of the songs that I have loved and therefore welcome these amazing
stories of pictures and words because they are uncompromisingly inspiring,” says Amos. “It shows you thought is a powerful formidable essence and can have a
breathtaking domino effect.”
To assemble COMIC BOOK TATTOO’s diverse roster of talent, Amos worked alongside editor Rantz Hoseley, co-creator behind the upcoming DISPLACED

Body of War Soundtrack

Tori’s track, Yo George, is one of the songs featured on the soundtrack for the documentary, Body of War - an intimate look at the face of war today from the eyes of a veteran who served a week in Iraq before suffering a bullet wound which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Tori’s in good company on this one… other artists featured include Eddie Vedder, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Ben Harper. Many of the shows on Tori’s American Doll Posse Tour will be available online at http://www.toriamos.com for digital download within a few hours of each show’s completion. Last night’s concert in Philadelphia at the Tower Theatre was the first show to become available online.
This follows Tori’s successful series of six live double-CD bootlegs released in 2005, featuring concerts from Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Denver, London and Manchester.
In order to provide the best possible quality audio and options, all shows released will be made available as high-quality MP3s (256K), and as even higher quality FLAC files. For Tori, making FLAC files available was crucial, “for those of us into audio pornography it gives me great pleasure to give the online audience “Legs and Boots,” and with these I endeavor to give you the ultimate sonic climax.”
Complete shows in MP3s will be available for $9.99 and FLAC will be $14.99. The shows will be available for download in the MP3 format in the hours following the performance. FLAC versions, because of their dramatic size increase, will be available 4-6 days after each performance. To avoid forcing FLAC purchasers to wait for their downloads, you’ll be given the MP3 format files upon purchasing to tide you over. Each bootleg purchase also includes album artwork as well as photos from the show.
You can pre-buy any show and set the software to “automatically download when available.”

The performance date for the third Sydney show has changed. The show that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2007 has now been moved to Saturday September 15, 2007.
The venue - the Sydney Opera House - remains unchanged. All tickets purchased for the original date are valid for the same seats on the new performance date without need for exchange.
If you are unable to make the new September 15 date, a full refund may be obtained from the ticket outlet from which your tickets were purchased. PLEASE NOTE-if you want a refund you must get in touch with the original point of purchase by 5pm, Monday, September 10.

Tori knows there are tons of talented fans and video directors out there that have what it takes to put a great music video together. So that’s where you come in. The director can download multiple camera angles of Tori’s performance footage of “Big Wheel” and other digital assets and then make your own video. Use all of your own footage, use some of Tori’s performance, then it’s all up to you, just use your imagination. UK Chart Regulations

We’ve had a lot of people asking so we thought we would take the opportunity
to clarify something. According to the UK Chart Regulations, the limited
edition special package of American Doll Posse has been disqualified from
the UK Charts. Apparently offering the fans 5 postcards is considered too
much of a gift, and sales of the CD are ineligible. Tori made the decision
not to compromise the packaging so the UK fans would receive the same
presentation as the rest of the world. We appreciate your
interest and concern for the situation.
